Passed in 2007, the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act allows the homeowners to avoid taxes on forgiven mortgage debt. For example, if a homeowner sold their $240,000 home for $40,000 in a short sale, they’re not obligated to pay taxes on the $200,000 of forgiven mortgage debt. However, the Mortgage Forgiveness Debt Relief Act is scheduled to expire at the end of 2012 and there is a fear that it won’t be extended. If that happens, homeowners who are part of the mortgage settlement reached last month could find themselves facing heavy tax debt obligations.

Our Mini Adrenalin Adventure was planned part 2
So the continuation of our adventure after we had completed Skydiving in Seattle was for us to go rock out and race go karts. Sarah had not planned this part, literally as we were finishing indoor skydiving and Sean looks over with a big grin and says “let’s go race go karts, its just like 3 minutes away…”. What an epically brilliant idea and a great continuation to the fun. Everyone hopped in their cars, Tim and April drove to the wrong place at first, and then we arrived at Sykart in Seattle.
This was another awesome adventure, totally a blast and I didn’t have to wear a freaking purple suit that looked like barney.

This is a very unique auction and one of the first of its kind. This initative was really pushed through by Costco, based out of Issaquah, who donated the majority of financial support .

Our Mini Adrenalin Adventure was planned
My wife decided that for my birthday the family and some friends were going to do some indoor skydiving in Seattle. Our youngest Gabe of coarse is only 2 years old so he couldn’t do it but I was really curious to see if our 5 year old Isaiah could muster up the courage. Well he did and I think that was almost the best part of this adventure. Watching him float in that windy huge vertical tube was awesome. Freaking, fabulous fun is what it was.
